Kafe Kontainer, Pit-Stop’s Strategy to Attract Millennials

TIMESINDONESIA, GRESIK – The large number of cafes in Gresik district, East Java, encourages the café owners to make an innovation in an attempt to attract customers. This time, Kafe Pit-Stop brings up the concept of container. This concept is believed to attract its main customers, the millennials.

In the café launching held on Sunday (22/7/2018) evening at Kafe Kontainer Pit-Stop, in Raya Berlian Biru Pondok Permata Suci (PPS), Gresik, the owner of Pit-Stop, Muhammad Rahmadhani Anwar, said that he deliberately brought up the concept of container.

According to Ramadhani, that concept is considered as something that could attract the millennials. “Not only for enjoying coffee, this contemporary café is also suitable for taking selfies,” he added.

Dhani mentioned, although his business has café concept, the coffee served to the customers is the indigenous coffee from Gresik. “I just want to bring up the indigenous coffee of Gresik to the café,” he said. Besides various coffee, the café pioneered by Dhani also serves various foods.

One of the visitors, Khanif Rosidin, said that the café concept of Pit-Stop is getting various and unique. “The place is cozy, and the prices are affordable,” he said.

There are various choices of Gresik coffee at Kafe Pit-Stop Kontainer, such as Kopi Tubruk Hitam (black coffee), Kopi Kasar Hitam (coarse black coffee) and Kopi Kasar Susu (coarse milk coffee), with the price ranging from IDR 4,000 to IDR 7,000.
