This café is located in Jalan Janti Barat 14-15, Bandungrejosari, Sukun sub-district, Malang. This café serves plain noodles and spicy noodles with various levels of spiciness.
There are five levels of spiciness, namely Level Ngelamun (1 – 5 chilies), Level Bingung (6 – 10 chilies, Level Stres (11 – 15 chilies), Level Nangis (16 – 20 chilies), and Level Putus Asa (20 – 25 chilies) that becomes the signature menu of this café.
Yanuar Dwi Wahyulah, the Field Manager of Café Mie Nangis, said that the most favorite levels of spiciness are Level Nangis and Level Putus Asa. “Our customers like to order Level Menangis and Level Putus asa,” said Dwi to TIMES Indonesia (timesindonesia.co.id) on Friday (18/01/2019).
He explained the characteristic of Mie Nangis. The noodles that has been seasoned is put into a wonton cracker that forms like a bowl.
“We serve something unique. The noodles is served in a wonton cracker that forms a bowl. The name of the levels of spiciness is also unique, depending on the spiciness that could make the customer get tears in their eyes,” said Dwi.
The price of Mie Nangis starts from IDR 9,000. Besides, the customer could add the topping based on their taste. Cafe Mie Nangis opens daily from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. WIB (Indonesian Western Time). You can also visit its Instagram account @mienangis_malang. (*)
