Enchanting Art Exhibition by 3 Local Artists on Kepanjen Malang

TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – Kepanjen which is located 30 minutes from Malang is a small town that has lots of good hidden artist espeacially on painting. This time the local Departement of Education brings 3 local artist for their art exhibition at Pendopo Diknas Kabupaten Malang.

This exhibition which is held on February 20 -28, 2019 aimed to introduces some potential artist from Kabupaten Malang itself. This exhibition is the first art exhibition conducted by the local government during 2019.

“There are 50 paintings from 3 artists displayed on this exhibition. We hope that this exhibition will restore the will of other artists to make a better and better painting," Ateng Sanjaya, one of the exbition's artist told TIMES Indonesia (tinesindonesia.co.id).

Moreover, still according to Ateng the realism and calligraphy will dominate the painting on the exhibition. It means that they will bring some social facts on their painting.

"Like one of my painting, a lady which rub some betel leaves on her body during her bath. This reflect a reality that happens in certain downtown village," he added.

Furthermore, he also hope that by this art exhibition which is conducted by the local Department of Education Kepanjen, Kabupaten Malang, the local artists will raise up and will be eager to introduce their painting to the society, so that the society will appreciate their painting more. (*)
