TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – A wide and huge meatball was displayed at Festival Kuliner BSD 'the Festival Bakso, Gorengan and Kuliner Lezat Nusantara' at BSD City, South Tangerang, Saturday (27/4/2019). This meatball was so called as Bakso Gepeng.
The festival which was conducted by ITC BSD City, PT Anggana Catur Prima (ACP), Jiis Comm, and Bakso Rusuk Joss made a super wide flat bakso (meatball) with 2.9 m diameter and 13cm tall and 1,2 ton weight which break the MURI record.

"This festival was intended to preserve the original delicacy of Indonesian Cullinary, like bakso and other fried cakes here," Febriyanto Rachmat CEO&Founder Jiiscomm said.
The meatball making was processed by 5 workers for 3 days. It needs around 500kg beef, or around 10 local cow.
The Bakso Gepeng which was displayed in the Festival Kuliner BSD was assumed to serve around 2.500 people. The meatball was planned to be shared with the visitors of the festival and some orphanage. (*)
