Disparbud Introduce The Design of Lamongan Traditional Clothes

LAMONGAN – Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan (Disparbud) or The Tourism Department of Lamongan, introduce the master design if Lamongan's traditional clothes at the Lamongan Culture Event, Tuesday (9/4/2019).
The traditional clothes which dominated by black color was designed in suit-like with along pants covered with Jarik (Lamongan batik) for men. It also equipped with a lovely and masculine headdress.
Meanwhile, the kebaya which made of lace used for the blouse and Lamongan batik for the fitted skirt for the girls. A black pashmina also attached on their head which make them look more beautiful.
"This traditional clothes decided through a long discussion on several seminar which attended by lots of cultural observers for Lamongan," Ismunawan said, Wednesday (10/4/2019).
Meanwhile according to Fadeli, Lamongan Mayor, this traditional clothes was taken from time to time fashion to this day and then combined. It has lots of historical meaning behind it. Disparbud Lamongan intend to held the official release on the 450th Anniversary of Lamongan. (*)
