The Exotic Bromo Listed in the Top 30 Event of Wonderful Indonesia

PROBOLINGGO – According to the Ministry of Indonesian Tourism and Markplus Center for Tourism and Hospitalit, The Exotic Bromo has been listed in the Top 30 Events Calender of Wonderful Indonesia.

This award was achieved in April 2019. The Exotic Bromo becomes the youngest forum among the others. This cultural forum held in the caldera of Sea of Sand in Mount Bromo is still three years old.

Last year, the Exotic Bromo was listed in the Top 100 Events Calendar of Wonderful Indonesia. In this third year, the Exotic Bromo was held on 13 – 14 July.

The Assistant of Development Marketing Deputy I Regional III of Ministry of Tourism, Gusti Ngurah Putra, granted the award of Top 30 Event to the Regent of Probolinggo, Tantriana Sari.

Tantriana Sari expressed her gratefulness to the Ministry of Tourism, as well as to the organizers and the committees.

Just like the previous years, this year, the Exotic Bromo is held in form of a ritual or Yadnya Kasada Ceremony, which is held by offering sacrifices in form of livestock, vegetables, and fruits. Sometimes the locals clamber down to the crater of Mount Bromo to retrieve the sacrificed goods. (*)
