Tegowangi Temple, where All the Ashes of the Royal Family of Kediri were Purified
The Tegowangi Temple (Candi Tegowangi) which located at the Tegowangi, Plemahan, Kediri, East Java is well known as a place to purify the ashes of the royal family in Kediri on it's time.

KEDIRI – The Tegowangi Temple (Candi Tegowangi) which located at the Tegowangi, Plemahan, Kediri, East Java is well known as a place to purify the ashes of the royal family in Kediri on it's time.
This temple is located 24 km to the East of the city which could be accessed by any vehicle. Build in 11,2 x 11,2 m wide and 4,35 m tall this temple were built heading west.
The milestone were made of bricks and the body were made of the andesite stone. In every corner of the temple were put a statue of a giant bowing.
There are around 14 reliefs patched on the wall. 8 of them are located on the west wing, meanwhile the rest are put on the south and north wing.
"There are lots of annual festival held in this temple, like the small puppet show, ballet, or some other sacred ceremonial," Nasokah, the caretaker of Tegowangi Temple (Candi Tegowangi) Kediri said. (*)
