The Bongen Musi Banyuasin Area Become More Popular since Their Last Renovation

TIMESINDONESIA, SEKAYU – The Bongen area, Musi Banyuasin look more crowded than it used to since it last renovation. More people spotted visiting this place day to day.

The low tide of Musi River which left the sand around the river bank looks like a beach make people visiting this place during the summer. This sand area is what so they called as Bongen.

"We will try to give something more special to the communities this year. Especially during the Bongen festival," the Mayir of Musi Banyuasin Dodi Reza said on Wednesday (7/8/2019).

Still according to him, the Festival will present some live music, local traditional dance, some fashion show and people's market. Meanwhile they hope that the Musi Banyuasin community will cooperate in keeping the area clean during the Bongen festival. (*)
