Rafflesia the World's Largest Flower Had Just Bloomed in West Sumatera

TIMESINDONESIA, PALEMBANG – Rafflesia is kind of flowering parasitic plant which has no stems, leaves or roots. It commonly has five petals and has a strong rotten fish smell. However this odor attracks some insect to fly upon the flower which help the flower to pollinate.
This flower is commonly founded in the Indonesian rain forest. And several days ago exactly on Thursday (2/1/2020) a group of scientist had just found the biggest rafflesia ever bloomed in the world.

The flower was founded in Maninjau Jorong Marambuang Conservation Forest, Nagari Baringin, Palembayan, Agam, West Sumatera. The flower is nearly 111 centimeters (3.7 feet) in diameter and broke the previous record on 2017 of 107 centimeters (3.5 feet).
Surprissingly, the place where the flower bloomed was also the sqme place where the previous largest rafflesia bloomed on 2017. The sad thing is that this beautiful flower will only bloom for no more than a week.
Lots of people visiting this place just to capture this rare moment including several foreign newspapers such as Channel News Asia (Singapore),This is Money (British),Vietnamplus, The Star (Malaysia) and many more.
Rafflesia is put on endangered status, since this flower is hardly bloom without the perfect temperature and ecosystem. This species of flower is also put under the law eyes by the Indonesian government to assure its survival.(*)
