
TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Javanese has certain customs that will make your mind blowing. Some people say that this custom more likely to a shy habit. But its not. It's just their way of being polite. Apparently this customs could help you to avoid the coronavirus (COVID-19) spread.

1. Water jug in front of their house
The Javanese used to provide a water jug called as 'padasan' in front of their house, to clean themselves before entering the house. The jug used to made of ceramic or clay.
2. Avoiding crowd when you cough
Javanese usually will voiding the crowd if they think the want to cough or sneeze. The y always bring a handkerchief on their pocket incase this little accident happened without control.
3. Littering
Javanese ancestor taught their children to dig a hole and throw all their garbage in the hole and cover it ti avoid some virus spread. Hiwever, now that the waste has been manage by the government, people shouldn't have to litter anywhere.
4 the art of speaking
Javanese will talk in a slow and soft voice to avoid their saliva spread here and there while they talking with their friend. What a wonderful manner.
5. How to shake hand
An old tradition of Javanese will keep going this beautiful way of shake hand. They will just put their hand in front of the chest in line with their chin. It prevent you to touch other and keep you safe from Coronavirus (COVID-19).
