Radio Malabar, the Perfect Place to Introduce Students with the History of Bandung
The local government of Bandung, West Java planned to add Radio Malabar on their educational tourism list. This hundred years old place was one of living witness for the development of world's telecommunication.

BANDUNG – The local government of Bandung, West Java planned to add Radio Malabar on their educational tourism list. This hundred years old place was one of living witness for the development of world's telecommunication.
"This place has a historical side that we need to preserve. The challenge is how to present the historical building to the community," the Mayor of Bandung Dadang M Naser said while visiting Festival Gunung Puntang ‘Hallo Bandoeng Netherland Amateur Radio Fair 2020’, on Saturday (13/3/20).
For this reason, the Mayor also stated that they have planned to cooperate with several local community such as Organisasi Amatir Radio Indonesia (ORARI), Indonesian Forestry Certification Coorporation, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, and Ministry of Education and Culture.
Meanwhile, Festival Gunung Puntang ‘Hallo Bandoeng Netherland Amateur Radio Fair 2020’ was held as one of their way to introduce the site as historical place in Bandung.
This event was also aimed to attract more visitor either from domestic or foreign country to visit Radio Malabar Bandung. There was some interesting activities on the event such as live folk music performance, hammock party, and some exhibition. (*)
