Kolak pisang campur (Mixed Banana Kolak)

Not only banana, but you may add sugar palm fruit, sweet potatoes, grass jelly, and jackfruit to this type of kolak. The strong aroma of jackfruit will make this dessert more scrumptious.

Kolak pisang cokelat (Chocolate Banana Kolak)

Chocolate, it sounds very delicious in this dessert. Actually, the chocolate here is the rice flour dough that is shaped like a banana.

The rice flour is mixed with cocoa powder, coconut milk, salt, white sugar, betel leaf water, and chocolate paste. Cook this mixture in a pan and bring it to a boil.

Take some of the dough. Put a banana on it and wrap it with the dough. Then, steam it on small heat for 40 minutes. Cut it into small slices.

Lastly, you can add some cassava or sugar palm fruit into your kolak.

Kolak singkong kelapa muda (Coconut Cassava Kolak)
To make this kind of kolak, you only need to add grated coconut, grass jelly, and mung beans.

Kolak durian (Durian kolak)
This is the most favorite kind of kolak as most people love durian.

It is very easy to make this kolak. You only need to boil the coconut milk, then add some durian. Turn down the heat and stir until the durian is melted. (*)
