Ketapang Ferry Terminal to Bali Stops Taking People On Board

TIMESINDONESIA, BANYUWANGI – PT ASDP Indonesia which run Ketapang Ferry Terminal Banyuwangi decided to stop taking people on board. As we all know that Ketapang is a ferry terminal which connects Bali and Java.
This decision was taken due to coronavirus outbreak. This was intended to minimize the spread of coronavirus to Bali or likewise. During this time, Ketapang Ferry Terminal will only serve logistics services to or from Bali.

This rule were conducted since May 1st 2020.
"People are no longer allowed to cross to Bali or likewise. Either they walk, took their own vehicle, or by public transportation," GM PT ASDP Ketapang Ferry Terminal, Fahmi Alweni said.
On the other side, the Mayor of Banyuwangi Abdullah Azwar Anas feel so blessed and grateful to see a quick response of the management of Ketapang Ferry Terminal.
"I really appreciate the quick response of Ketapang Ferry Terminal Banyuwangi (to Bali) to the local government order to stop any coming home activities during Ramadhan and Eid Al-Fithr. it was taken for the sake of all," Anas said. (*)
