Jalangkote, the Delicious Curry Puff of Makasar South Sulawesi

TIMESINDONESIA, MAKASSAR – Jalangkote is the way the local community in Makasar called curry puff. Curry puff is a crispy pastry stuffed with a variety of savoury fillings such as potatoes, minced meat or a combination of curry potatoes and minced meat.

Not only in Makasar, Jalangkote has also become well known pastry in a round the country. Some area in Indonesia will call this pastry as pastel.
