"Bajigur is perfectly fit to drink during rainy season to keep us warm. It's also a good drink to boost your immune system," Sudar a Bajigur seller at Ponorogo stadium said.
The gingerol contains in ginger makes those who drink it has a better immune system. Gingerol is the main bioactive compound in ginger, responsible for much of its medicinal properties. It has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect.
During this Covid-19 issue, Sudar even has an higher cash flow to his business. "I think I'm the only person who sell Bajigur in Ponorogo, that's why they all came here for it," Sudar added. (*)
