Bakmi Jawa Pak Dhe Dhepis Yogyakarta, Authentic Taste of Indonesia Fried Noodle

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Indonesia also has an authentic taste of fried noodle especially those which you get from the street food vendor or those you could get from a push food cart. Just like what Bakmi Jawa Pak Dhe Dhepis Yogyakarta has.

Bakmi Jawa (fried noodle) Pak Dhe Dhepis is located at Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto No. 110 Yogyakarta. This food shop owned by Antun Kriscahyo, a 47 year old guy. Not only that, this food shop also keep serving their customers in the middle of this pandemic.

"We have less income compared to those time before the pandemic. I even closed the shop for several days since there was no more customer coming," Antun said on Sunday (31/5/2020).

Yet, after several days of closing his shop, Antun decided to keep opening his business eventhough there was no customer coming. He opens the fried noodle shop daily from 17.00 to 00.00 local western time.

Antun also asked every of his customers to wear a mask and keep physical distancing. He allows some of them who willingly to dine in but he will be very grateful if they just took the fried noodle away.

Antun was formerly worked as one of security in Gajah Mada University Yogyakarta. But then he decided to resign and find another job by making his own business as an owner of fried noodle shop as well as the executive chef.

At Bakmi Jawa Pak Dhe Dhepis Yogyakarta Antun cook his fried noodle using traditional charcoal stove. This what might give the taste more exotic. You could get a set of fried noodle with duck egg for IDR 16 K. "I also provide a sink for the customers to wash their hand," Antun said. (*)
