Pantangi Dam Cokomenggalan, a new tourist destination in Ponorogo, East Java which had just been opened on January 2020 had to be closed for several months due to the pandemic.

PONOROGO – Pantangi Dam Cokomenggalan, a new tourist destination in Ponorogo, East Java which had just been opened on January 2020 had to be closed for several months due to the pandemic. Luckily, this new tourist destination has been reopened for public since yesterday (Sunday, June 15, 2020).
Pantangi Dam Cokromenggalan is a tourist destination which offers boat tour and the lovely scenery of local area through 2 kilometres of Cokromenggalan river. Though the water is just typical dirty water for the mud, not as clear as any river in Venice or Holland, yet this place will give you an exotic scenery of local country side.
As any other tourist destination, this place also applies Covid-19 protocol standard such providing a sink at their entrance, and asking every of their visitors to wear a mask. They also limit the boat passenger aboard into half.
“We will follow government regulation and make this tourist destination back on its glory,” Andri Risdriya Triawan, captain of the boat said on Sunday (14/6/2020)
On the first day of its reopening, there hasn’t been lots of visitors visiting this place. There are only several people spotted Pantangi Dam Cokromenggalan Ponorogo. “It either because they still isolated themselves or hasn’t know that this place has been reopened for public,” Triawan ended. (*)
