TIMESINDONESIA, BANDUNG – Bandung Zoo, a local zoo in Bandung which commonly called as Kebun Binatang Bandung by the local community preparing themselves to welcome their visitor during new normal time. They have closed all their attractions for several months since the pandemic struck the country.
“Normally we have so much visitors in a day. But as the place temporarily being closed, we have suffered so much lost,” the PR of Bandung Zoo, Sulhan Syafii said on Thursday (18/6/2020).

Still according to him, the preparations has reach about 50%. They also planned to send a letter to the local government to let their zoo being opened once all the thing they needed to welcome the visitors has been required.
Still according to his explanation, the zoo will be ready by the time the local government held examination. After the examination the government will determine whether the zoo is adequate enough to be reopened or not.
Meanwhile, as what the Vice Mayor had suggested, several areas such as cafeteria and the playground will not be opened during the time. “The Vice Mayor said it will be reopened later after the condition gets better,” Syafii added.
Last but not least, Bandung Zoo (Kebun Binatang Bandung) will also install 16 sinks and 12 hand sanitizer spots around the area. This zoo will also limit the number of the visitor for only 2500 visitor a day to minimize the crowd. (*)
