Klepon is some sort of munchies which also well known in several foreign countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam. This cake will be easily to find at the local conventional market.

This cake is made of rice flour and glutinous rice flour. Once they combined into a dough with water the local will stuff it with palm sugar and then boiled it till it floats and has a chewy texture.
After it done, they will let it sit for a while and then dunk it into steamed mix of grated coconut with salt and sugar and pandan leaves. This grated coconut will make it looks like a white hairy ball and add the taste to super maximum level of savory.
The sugar stuffed in it will be melted from the heat of the boiling water. Be very careful when you eat it, since the palm sugar sometimes will be squirt once you bite the Klepon. (*)
