TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – What kind of cooking oil do you usually use in your kitchen? Little did you know, your grocery usually will provide you with some cooking oils that you have never tried or know what about it. These are several list of cooking oil that you could use for your daily cooking.

1. Palm oil

This kind of oil commonly used in some developed country such as Indonesia. It’s made of the fruit of the oil palm tree. It produces high-quality oil used primarily for cooking. it gives your food a better and nice taste compared to when you using other oil. Deep frying is the best way to use this oil.

2. Soybean oil

Soybean oil is a vegetable oil that's extracted from the seeds of the soybean plant. It’s also incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of cooking methods, including frying, baking, and roasting. It has a mild, neutral taste and is a perfect combination when you make salad dressing.

3. Corn oil

Corn oil is a refined vegetable oil widely used in cooking and especially deep frying. It went through a complicated process. It ideal for deep-frying foods to make your food crisps without burning them.

4. Virgin olive oil

A low smoke point will be found in this oil. This oil is commonly used as salad dressing, sauté, and roasting. There then, you need to use low heat on your stove and don’t cook it for too long.

5. Rice barn oil

Rice bran oil is the oil extracted from the hard outer brown layer of rice called chaff (rice husk). As one of cooking oils it says that it’s good for our skin and has antioxidant and anti inflamatory in it. It promotes your heart’s health and many other benefits. (*)
