Pangandaran Nature Reserve, Best Place to Bring Wild Life Experience to the Utmost

TIMESINDONESIA, PANGADARAN – Pangandaran Nature Reserve of Pangandaran, West Java has been back in business after being closed temporarily since the starting point of pandemic. It was quiet sad to see because this place was one of the local’s favorite place to spend their leisure time.
However, the visitors could now have some fresh air in this place. Located in 5.300 hectare area the visitors now could enjoy the local scenery of plants and trees and also the wild animals living in the forest as well.

If you are lucky you could meet some monkeys, chimpanzee, deer, mouse-deer, or some monitor lizard. You could also find beautiful species of birds such as peacock Canghegar, cipeuw, and jogjog as the local endemic birds at the forest.
Several typical tropical trees such as Laban, Kisegel, Merong, Kondang, and Barringtonia could be found in this reservation area. There is a tree with exotic look that looks like a rocket.
“They all have been here since long ago. But some of the fowl, we get it from neighborhood city,” The Chief of PPWP (Perkumpulan Pemandu Wisata Pangandaran) ot local Guide Community Ujang Sutiana said.
With all those species of plants and animals, Pangandaran Nature Reserve could be a nice place for jungle tracking. It will fill your hunger of exploring new place and finding some wild animals and admiring the beauty of the nature. (*)
