TIMESINDONESIA, YOGYAKARTA – Yogyakarta must be very proud now for they have a local modern market which which equipped with a co-working space and modern technology. This market was known as Prawirotaman Market.

Prawirotaman market was formerly a local conventional market. It is then renovated and made into a modern market which has modern look. Beside the co-working space it also equipped with an elevator to ease the customers walk through the stairs.

The co-working space was located at the 4^th floor. “The 4^th floor will be used as a coworking space for the local designer and enterprenuers,” Sri Sultan Hamengku Bowono X, the Governor of Yogyakarta said on the virtual grand opening ceremony (18/12/2020).

Sri Sultan also said that it has to be supported by economic revitalization as an effort to increase the income and traders' access to financing and sources of products.  This market will become a place where the local economic activity begins.

“This market will be the first market with digital payment in Yogyakarta,” Haryadi Suyuti, the Mayor of Yogyakarta commented about Prawirotaman Market.  (*)
