Istana Pengangguran Malang, a Nice Vineyard to Visit During Your Day Off

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – There has not been much vineyard in the the country that has been turned into some educational tourism. But this Istana Pengangguran Malang take a further step to get closer to the people by making their place as tourist destination. 

Dwi Suprianto the owner of the vineyard saint that this orchard has 130 variety of grape vine. It lies on a 2000 meter square area. This vineyard will surely enchants your eyes with its lush green tress.

Those variety comes are mostly mixed breed from local grape with foreign grape. Not only pleased their customers with beautiful vineyard, this place also has a nice cafe right at the front door.

For those who happened to visit this place for the first time, they will be surprised with what they will fond inside. They will merely see a cafe from the outside but once step in, the vineyard is awaits right after it.

You could have a cup of coffee accompanied by the legendary local cake, kue pancong. This combo will become a great companion to enjoy the beauty if the vineyard.

"I believe this vineyard will be a pilot project for the village and its community. We hope that in the future we could add more attraction such as Floting restaurant above the river and else," Dwi said.

In addition, for those who would like to have some more knowledge about the culture, Dwi will happily share some of his knowledge about it. All for free. You just need to come to this place and meet him for sure.

According to him, growing grape vine is not that hard as you thought. You could plant it on a pot just like what he did on his vineyard. Istana Pengangguran Malang really becomes a simple model to grow some grape. (*)
