Festival Tanjung Waka, a Cultural Festival of Sula Island, North Maluku

TIMESINDONESIA, KEPULAUAN SULA – Sula Island of North Maluku has something worth to see. This place has a exotic cultural festival they named as Festival Tanjung Waka. This festival is an annual festival to introduce the local culture and products to the tourists and visitors.
This year, Festival Tanjung Waka was planned to be held by the end of December 2021. Up until jow, the local government who was in charge of the festival still working in renovating the venue at Fatkauyon,

"We planned to hold the festival on December 18-21, 2021. The local government has sent their officer to do some social work to help us prepare the venue on every Saturday and Sunday," Fifian Ade Ningsih Mus, the Mayor of Sula Island said on Monday (15/11/2021).
On the festival, some local cultural performances will be given to entertain the visitors. There will be folks market which display the local products, from food to souvenirs which you could take for such an affordable price.
This were expected to attract more investors to Sula Island and do more business in the city. The surge of tourism industry were the main target, thats why this festival took Tanjung Wakabeach as the majn venue.
Tanjung Waka beach where the festival will take place has been well known with its enchanting glittering white vast stretched sand all over the beach. The panoramic view of scenery around will
also mesmerize your eyes during your time at the beach.
There will be a long stage prepared by the local government for the cultural performances. The stalls to display the local products were still in on going process till now. Festival Tanjung Waka of Sula Island, North Sulawesi will surely be a worth thing to visit. Don't miss it.(*)
