JAKARTA – Buyutan Beach, Widoro, Pacitan, East Java really has something to offer. From the vast stretched brown sand to the beautiful scenery around, this beach really worth the visit. Little did you know, there is also a legend story lays behind.
It's a story about Narada, one of the Gods you will heard on Javanese puppet show. Well the story related to the exotic rocks stand still on the coast. The rock has an exotic shape of crown.
The rock was located onto he western side of the Beach. The locals believe that this rock was the crown of Narada which fallen on the shore while he flew across the beach.

"Long ago, Narada flew across the Buyutan, he accidentally drip his crown. And day by days, it turn out into a huge rock, and that the story behind the name of the rock itself," Nur Tepi, the reservation guy of Widoro said on Saturday (4/12/2021).
Meanwhile there are several other exotic huge rocks you could find around the area. The locals named it Watu Kenong and Watu Pasar. Watu Kerun and Watu Bale will also be a nice attraction to find in this beach.
Those rocks have become an iconic attraction of Byyutan Beach. People has always take some time to stop by the rocks and took some picture with them on the background. In late afternoon, the beach will give you such a stunning view of sunset.

You better come to this place early in the morning so you won't be stroken by the hot wave of the sun meets the salty water. You could also find some cafeteria and restroom for Buyutan Beach of Pacitan has been equipped with proper public facilities. (*)
