TIMESINDONESIA, BLORA – Lontong tahu literally meast fried tofu with rice cake. This food has become a common food in the country. Bu tif you willing to find it easier you could try to visit Blora, Central Java. This city has the most vendor of lontong tahu all over the city.

This was because the locals has make this food as one of their comfort food. In Blora, lontong tahu will be served starting with plating the rice cake, fried tofu, simmered beansprout, and peanut sauce as the key. Not stop on that, there will be some other topping like fried shallot, minced celery, and fried peanut.

Lontong Tahu Teras Grojogan did the same to the food they served to their customers. yet they added some lime water on top of it to make the taste richer. Located at Jalan Sudirman they made the food more special because they made the sauce one by one and adjust the spiciness according to the customers tolerance.

"Thanks lord, this place has never been quite from the customers. you could have a set of lontong tahu for IDR 9 , or IDR 12 K for a set of lontong tahu with sunnnny side egg," Iin, the owner of Lontong Tahu Teras Grojogan said.

What makes it more special, Iin wrapped  the lontong tahu with teak leaves. Teak leaves gives a aromatic smell to the food when it is used s a wrapper. "It’s a typical way of Blora lontong tahu was wrapped. It gives extra fragrance if a good way,"  Sandra, a loyal customers of Lontong Tahu Teras Grojogan said when lining up.(*)
