TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Those fried chicken from chained restaurant like KFC and Mc Donald has always attracted us with their pleasant smell of crispy fried chicken. But do you know how to make one?  Here, we will give you an easy recipe for this tasty crispy fried chicken which you could do at home. Let's check it out!

  • 500gr chicken
  • All purposive flour (original and spicy one) 250 gr
  • Salt 1 tbs
  • Ground pepper 1tbs
  • Chicken block 1
  • Chili powder 2 tbs
  • Cornstarch 3 tbs
  • Water 100 ml
  • Vegetable oil
  • Garlic 3 cloves

Instructions:

  1. Put the  salt, minced garlic, chicken block, ground pepper, and chili powder all together in a big bowl. Add the water. Mix them well. Adjust the taste.
  2. Put the chicken in it and marinate it for 15 to 20 minutes while keep steering them all. Set the water away. Keep the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  3. Get two other bowl to put the flour. Put 8 tablespoon of  purposive flour on a bowl and add some water to make it slimy and sticky. Put the rest of the flour in another bowl and add the cornstarch.
  4. When the chicken is set, heat your pan while you roll the chicken in to the first bowl of flour, then coat it with the second base of the dry flour. Shake it off and you'll see the curly hanging flour stick on the chicken.
  5. Wait till the pan hot enough then deep fry it with hot temperature for a minute and low down the heat and cook it slowly till your chicken turn to golden brown.
  6. This process will take around 15 to 20 minutes. The low heat was to make sure your crispy fried chicken will be well done when it being served. Happy cooking !!!.
