Taste an Ultimate Traditional Atmosphere of Kali Klepu Pacitan

TIMESINDONESIA, PACITAN – Pacitan offers another culinary destination that will bring you back to the old times. The place is so called as Wisata Kuliner Tradisional Kali Klepu. Located in Pacitan, East Java, this place offers a culinary tourism for those who willing to taste the local traditional dishes of Pacitan.

Ths place was managed by the local Tourism Awareness Community or well known as Pokdarwis. "The visitors need to exchange their money with our coconut shell made of coins to be able to do the transaction and taste the food," Kukuh Santoso (43) the Chief of the Pokdarwis said on Friday (11/3/2022).

Still according to him, each coconut shell coin worth for IDR 2 K. The visitors coud excahnge their money according to their budget. However, the dish will only available on weekend, i.e. Saturday and Sunday. On the weekdays, the visitors will be taken to enjoy the beautiful view of local scenery.

"The construction begin in 2019. It needs around 2 years to finish all the things around. We hope that this place will bring a better life for the local community," Kukuh added.

This place has managed to attract the visitors with their old atmosphere it has. Some visitors said that he was stunned by the unique and traditional things he could find in this place. "Every staffs wearing traditional Javanese outfit, it reminds me of the old days," Agus Riyanto a visitor from Sukoharjo, Central Java said.

Located at karanganyar, Kebonagung, Pacitan, Central Java this place will be a perfect place to spend your day off with your family. Wisata Kuliner Tradisional Kali Klepu will give you and your loved ones a nice experience of an ultimate taste of traditional dish. (*)
