1. Biggest island in Madura

Once after harvesting time, the local community will hold Karapan Kerbau or the Buffalo Race. This race will be held in the local rice field, at the same time to plow the soil before it was being replanted by another rice. Not only the local indigenous community who lives in this island, Kangen also has multiple race living in this island. Beside the Madurese, they also has some Melayu of Kalimantan or Sulawesi, some Chinese, and Arab.
