Have the Exquisite Taste of Coconut Milk at Es Santan 68 Pak No Malang

TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – Malang has always been giving their best  in culinary world. this city has thousands of hawkers, food shop to fancy restaurant that you need to visit. Each of them served the best of their food. Including Es Santan Pak No with their Es Santan or tasty refreshing coconut milk with ice.

Es Santan is categorized as one old traditional culinary for its been served since years and years back then. And Es Santan Pak No has been doing the business since 1968. It's located at Jalan Sempu, Klojen, Malang, right in front of SMA Negeri 9.

The Es Santan will have a pink look from the syrup added with some other filling and bread with syrup on top of it. "It's made out of coconut milk, vanila powder, sugar, pandan leaves, fermented brown glutinous rice, and green tapioca jelly," Sutono, the owner of Es Santan Pak No said.

Sutono said that during his first 8 years of doing the business he has to walk around the city to offer the Es Santan. Yet, in 1976 he managed to buy a cart and decided to just stay in a one place. since then, Sutono or Pak No stayed at the place he stayed in for business.

Es Santan 68 Pak No doesn’t make you broke. A glass of es santan Pak No along the sweet bread  with syrup will only cost you IDR 4 K/set. You could visit the food shop daily from 11.00 to 16.00 local western times. (*)
