First and foremost, for the older kid which is 5, you can take him/her to talk. At this age they will understand what your saying. Talk to them in nice way and tell them that what they did, angry at his/her sibling and throw it to something else like breaking the electronic, throwing things was not the right thing to do.

Never judge them, just explain why it was not right. Talk to them on their level. Explain what you were trying to say with simple words they can understand

Second of all, for the younger child, if he/she wants you to buy the same toy as their sibling has, just take them for some small talk for normally, kids at this age will understand your language if you talk to them nicely.

You could sometime buy them the things the want but not always to keep away the spoil label from them. Don't hesitate to take them for small talk and discuss the thing that you think is not right away. And this will keep away your kids from fighting each other in the future. (*)
