The horse will be able to lift those visitors with maximum weight of 70 kg. However for those foreign tourists with more weight and bigger body you could asked the driver to get you one bigger horse that suit to your body.
To enjoy the ride, you will need to spend only for IDR 200 K or around $17 from your vehicle to the gate right before the stairway to the crater and vice versa. Or you could just take one way around for half price.
However, for those who fully booked the horse from the beginning till the end you will get some other advantages. The owner of the horse will let you to ride their horse while they take some photos and videos for you.
They will lead you to handle the horse patiently. Or if you like you could take it for a race in the desert around the crater. It's all for free. Not to mention when there were no more people line up for the horse you will get more time to ride on it.
This will be such a nice moment to remember with your loved ones. Bromo did really has something to offer to create some unforgettable memory with your friends and family including riding the horse and learn to control it. (*)
