
TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – The President of Russia Vladimir Putin declared his absence on G20 Indonesia. It was the Russian Minister of Foreign Affair who will come to Nusa Dua, Bali and represent him during the summit.
The Head of Protocol of Russian Embassy in Indonesia Yulia Tomskaya said that the Minister of Foreign Affair will be the one to lead al Russian delegations during the summit.

"I can confirm that Sergey Lavrov will be the one to leas Russian delegations to G20," as Yulia Tomskaya said via AFP on Thursday (10/11/2022).
Vladimir Putin planned to join the summit virtually from his office in Russia. "His program is on progress. But he could join the summit virtually," Tomskaya added.
Putin absence was stated earlier by Luhut Biunsar Panjaitan, the Head of Event Supporting Area of G20. He said that Putin will not come to G20 Indonesia summit.
Luhut emphasized that Putin has stated his absence. Instead, he will just send the Russian Minister of Foreign Affair to represent him during the summit.
"Putin will will not come and he has stated it earlier that he will just send his minister of foreign affair for it," as Luhut said in Bali through CNBC on Thursday (10/11/2022).
With the decision made, the Indonesian government will respect his decision and honor whatever the decision is. In another hand, Putin has discuss about this issue personally with the president of Indonesia Joko Widodo.
Meanwhile, several president across the globe has declared their attendance in G20 Indonesia. As for now, there has been 17 presidents across the countries declared to join the summit. (*)
