The President of FIFA Brings Qatar World Cup Ball on G20 Indonesia for Souvenir
TIMESINDONESIA, BALI – The President of FIFA Gianni Infantino who happened to join G20 Indonesia in person attending the G20 Luncheon. The occasion was held at the Bamboo Dome, The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Nusa Dua, Bali, on Tuesday (15/11/2022).
There is something interesting during his appearance. He brought several balls which will be used during the Qatar World Cup 2022 which will be started on November 20, few days after the summit.
Each of the world's leaders get this special world cup ball as souvenir. He also keep one ball he called as Al Rihla to be signed by the world's leaders attending the meeting.
This exclusive ball will be given to President of Indonesia Joko Widodo as the G20 presidency. "This is the official world cup ball (2022). Everyone of you will get one with your name on it. Please make sure you have it," Infantino said during lunch.
Infantino also explained how the world cup has brought such a positive vibe to Qatar. According to him, there will be at least around 3 million people will visit Qatar for this special moment.
For your information, there will be around 64 football matches played during the time. This match was estimated to be watched by 5 billion people across the globe on television.
"This will be the first world cup held in Middle East. Qatar and FIFA has prepared everything and make sure it goes well. As well as for you all in this room," Infantino said at G20 Luncheon event.
