YOGYAKARTA – A local brand of Indonesian common staple food i.e. rice has started to go global with their product. It was WellFarm, a local brand for organic rice with high quality product to be delivered to their customers.
Well farm even joined some local MSMe exhibitions to introduce their product. "We hope that by joining some exhibition we could have a bigger chance in this industry and may be to get a chance through Business Matching which has been planned earlier," The founder of WellFarm, Betty Nurbaiti said during an MSMe exhibition in Yogyakarta on Saturday (10/12/2022)
Betty also explained that WellFarm was a company which produce organic foods. Beside the organic rice, they also have some organic stock and soy sauce. All will be a great choice for your grocery supplies.
Betty also told the reason why WellFarm focusing on organic product. Back then before the scientists invented some chemical fertilizer, people consumed organic food grown with natural fertilizer. But this tradition changed as the modern industry goes.
However, lately the trend of having organic food for daily intake has comeback. People tend to have healthy lifestyle by choosing organic foods which was raised and grown in organic ways.
"We are working together with those local farmers at Mount Merapi and Mount Merbabu to produce these organic products especially the rice," Betty added.
In this case WellFarm committed to help the local farmer to raise the value of rice in the market. For so long, the local farmer's product has been underrated and they don't have the right share. Normally they will have a lower price far from those normal prices in the market.
Toward the case, WellFarm intended to give such solution and give the local farmer a better chance and make them went to the global market with a good organic product they produce.
The rice also varied. Starting from those organic rice for diabetes, organic rice to help your diet, obirice for those with heart issues, and amazinc organic rice for those who needs more zinc for their body.
