Pecel Pitik is such local delicacy which only served during certain occasion. you could say this dish was a mere festive food which only occur during traditional ceremony of Osing tribe, the indigenous community that lives in the city.

They will grilled the chicken first until its done. and then prepare the ingredients which was made of bird eye chili, cayenne chili, sugar, candlenut, shrimp paste, ground peanut, and grated coconut. All the ingredients will be grounded then mixed together with the grated coconut.
Once the chicken ready, make a big floss of it and mix together with the ingredients. Normally the taste will be very spicy. But you can ask for so-so level of spiciness to match your taste.
