Break Your Fast during Ramadan at Djoeragan Banyuwangi

The Exotic Ambience of the Restaurant

Located at Jalan Sempe, Genteng, District of Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, this place offers such an exotic ambience of couple traditional huts as the dining venue. The size of the hut is varied and could accommodate 8 to 40 people at a time. 

The roof was made of hay with nice wooden furniture in it. For those who willing to dine outside the hut, Djoeragan also prepared several table next to the hut which could accommodate less people, around 2 to 6 people. 

Hundreds of dim light was also stretched along the area, making the restaurant look so nebulous in positive way.  This place will give you a romantic ambience and will be a perfect place to bring your loved ones. 

The Mouthwatering Dishes Served for Ramadan at Djoeragan

the restaurant has prepared the indigenous foods on their menu. From sweet and sour soup to the original jangan lompong or taro stem curry with its authentic taste. All will bring you back to the old memories when your grandmother cook for you.

For those gen Z, you could choose modern days dishes from grilled seafood to meatballs. Fried Duck, Gourami with sweet and sour sauce will also be available for those who doesn't want some old traditional taste. "With our special cooking technique, we elevate the taste," Muhammad Reza Baikhaqi, the manager of Djoeragan restaurant said on Friday (17/2/2023).

Some snack and desserts will accomplish your dining moment with your loved ones. It will cleanse your palate and leave the best memory you have while enjoying your dining. "The food start from IDR 20 K to IDR 55 K. The desserts starts from IDR 6 to IDR 15 K," Reza added. 

On normal days this restaurant opens daily from 10.00 to 22.00 local western times. But during Ramadan Djoeragan restaurant of Banyuwangi will be open on 17.00 to 24.00 local western times.(*)
