TIMESINDONESIA, TASIKMALAYA – Tasikmalaya is a city in West Java, which is also known as “The Town of A Thousand Hills”. Tasikmalaya is famous for its mouth-watering culinary. Yudi Rhisnandi, the owner of restaurant stated that the particular dish in his restaurant is different from any other same food in another restaurant. “We have the freshest mutton satay because we get them directly from our farm,” he stated. 

Yudi mentioned his farm, which is located around Cisalak Village in Tasikmalaya has around 600 healthy lambs. His farm also supplies their product to several restaurants in East Priangan. “We never run out of mutton stock. They are always served fresh daily,” he said.

The savory taste comes from the secret recipe and the special cooking method done by a professional chef. They use special and high quality seasonings and herbs to create a scrumptious taste of the food. 

“To make some tender meat satay that can absorb the seasonings perfectly, we start from choosing the type, weight and the health condition of the lambs,” he explained. 

According to Yudi, the best meat comes from a 5-to-7-month old lamb. In this age, the lambs usually have tender meat that is perfect for making this kind of food. If you want to try this dish, you can come directly to Jalan Yudanegara 40, Cihideung. The place is easy to find as it is located in the center of the city. 

Sate Kambing Muda Juara has Never been Quiet from the Customers

Sate Kambing Muda Juara is located in a strategic place, surrounded by many luxurious hotels, such as Horison Hotel, Santika Hotel, and Cordela Hotel. No wonder why this restaurant is crowded with customers that are coming from many regions all around Indonesia. 

“Alhamdulillah (Praise the Lord), our shop is always crowded with customers from many cities. Our food has a relatively affordable price, starting from IDR 45,000 to IDr 60,000. We also serve lamb curry named Gultik, which costs IDR 10,000 per portion,” he stated.

Dede Muharam, the Head Committee IV of DPRD Tasikmalaya is one of the loyal customers at Sate Kambing Muda Juara. He agreed that the mutton satay is second to none. “The meat is tender and savory, and the seasonings are scrumptious. Tasikmalaya should be proud of this mutton satay,” he stated. (*)
