Cemagi Run Series 2023: Bali Welcomes International Runners to Promote Healthy Lifestyle and Social Purpose

TIMESINDONESIA, BALI – dir="ltr">Bali is set to host the inaugural Cemagi Run Series 2023, an international running event featuring 10 km and 4 km races, on April 30th. The event will be held in the picturesque Cemagi Village, located in the South West of Bali, and is fully supported by the Cemagi Administration.

More than 250 runners from around the world are expected to participate, with over 1,000 attendees anticipated at the event.

The Cemagi Run Series 2023 has a significant social purpose, targeting tourists and local residents of the island. The opening ceremony will include a free charity 800m run for children aged 10 to 16 years.

Ketut Sadia, one of the organizers, explains that the event's objective is to encourage tourists, foreign, Balinese, and Indonesian residents to engage in physical activities and lead healthier lifestyles. "Additionally, the event aims to assist youngsters from low-income households and orphanages, boosting their confidence by inviting them to compete," she said.

Each area of the Cemagi Run event will feature a distinctive design to create a unique atmosphere. An award ceremony is planned to recognize participants, and a food court, market, and DJ will add a festive flavor to the event.

Organized in collaboration with event partners, the Cemagi Run Series 2023 aims to popularize running and healthy living not only in Bali but throughout Indonesia.

The next events in the series are scheduled for June 25 and July 30, 2023. The event planners are dedicated to developing and supporting running events and connecting with other sports communities across Indonesia to promote a healthy lifestyle nationwide.
