TIMESINDONESIA, ACEH – You might never heard of this Acehnese tourist destination known as Pulau Dua. However, this place has become a popular tourist destination for the local community to spend their holidays or just a mere leisure time.
It is located not far from Tapaktuan, at Pulo Rayeuk village, Bakongan Timur, South Aceh. It takes around 68 kilometers from Tapaktuan or a one-hour long from this city. You could go to this place by your vehicle either car or just motorcycle.

"The round-trip crossing rate is still the same, IDR 50,000 per person. If you stay overnight, there is an additional parking fee of IDR 10,000 for motorcycles and IDR 20,000 for four-wheeled vehicles," Hidayat, a local tourist explained.
He also said that for lodging in the available villa huts, visitors only need to spend IDR 200,000 per night. But, if they bring their own personal equipment such as tents, camping gear, and so on, there will be no charge.
During the trip, many fishing boats passed by from the mainland to Pulau Dua and vice versa. In addition to fishing boats, there were also several floating fishermen's cages before reaching the island.
