Lettu Bayu Prasetyo Stresses the Importance of Preparedness and Anticipation for the Hajj in Madinah

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Lettu Bayu Prasetyo, in Action of Pilgrim Protection Department or Kasie Linjam Daker Madinah highlights the importance of anticipation and preparedness of the Indonesian Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) staff and pilgrims in facing various situations in Madinah.
Speaking on the case where pilgrims inadvertently find someone else's belongings, Lettu Bayu advises not to take the item directly, but rather report it to the Saudi Arabian police or known as Askar. This is intended to prevent negative perceptions from others who might think that we are trying to steal the item.

"Proactive actions like this are crucial in demonstrating our good intentions and maintaining our good name within the community," says Lettu Bayu.
Lettu Bayu also addresses Hajj staff and pilgrims to always be in a group, a minimum of two people, as a preventive measure in case a situation requires witnesses.
"We must always be in a position to protect each other and be ready if a situation requires witnesses," he explains.
In the context of regulations in Saudi Arabia, Lettu Bayu emphasizes the importance of socialization and understanding of rules, such as the prohibition of displaying banners, smoking in random places, and others, that need to be conveyed to the pilgrims by the Hajj group leader.
"Understanding the rules and regulations in Saudi Arabia is an important part of preparing for the Hajj. By understanding and following these rules, we can minimize potential problems and ensure our comfort and safety during the pilgrimage," concludes Lettu Bayu.
