TIMESINDONESIA, MADINAH – The Saudi Arabian Hajj Organizing Officials (PPIH Saudi Arabia) have committed to provide the best service to Indonesian pilgrims. They have placed the pilgrims in the Markaziyah area and provided accommodations which is equal to three-star hotels.
A number of Indonesian pilgrims even have the opportunity to stay at five-star hotels located in the Markaziyah area near the Nabawi Mosque, as in previous years. Ali Machzumi, the Head of Accommodation Services at Daker Madinah, explained this after inspecting the pilgrims' hotels on Monday (5/6/2023).

"A number of Indonesian pilgrims also had the experience of staying at five-star hotels in Madinah located in the Markaziyah area, near the Nabawi Mosque," said Ali Machzumi, the Head of Accommodation Services at Daker Madinah, after inspecting the pilgrims' hotels on Monday (5/6/2023).
In the provision of accommodations for Hajj pilgrims in Madinah, two approaches are used: full season and blocking time or semi-full season. Hajj pilgrims using the blocking time system have the opportunity to receive five-star hotel services. Generally, the Majmuah in Madinah has high-class hotels at competitive prices.
Ali also conveyed that the PPIH remains focused on providing the best service to all Hajj pilgrims, whether they stay at three, four, or five-star hotels. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has been committed from the beginning to providing maximum service to Indonesian Hajj pilgrims.
The main goal of the PPIH is to prepare a number of hotels in the Markaziyah area, near the Nabawi Mosque, to prioritize the needs of the pilgrims. Ali acknowledged that the blocking time system has its advantages and disadvantages. Pilgrims can stay at five-star hotels, but they may share accommodations with Hajj pilgrims from other countries.
One group of Hajj pilgrims, namely Kloter 24 from Embarkasi Jakarta (JKH 24), had the opportunity to stay at a five-star hotel in Madinah. They are very grateful for the facilities.
This year, approximately 180,000 pilgrims occupy hotels with the full-season rental system, while another 49,000 pilgrims use the blocking time system. (*)
