As you enter the ticket gate area and make your way to the beach, you'll be treated to the sight of majestic cliffs flanking the road, adorned with statues of the Pandawa brothers. These statues provide a fantastic photo opportunity, allowing visitors to capture the stunning gradient of the sea from an elevated vantage point.

Moreover, Pandawa Beach now offers a unique photo spot right in the middle of the road, surrounded by the breathtaking cliffs and paragliders soaring above.

For those seeking adventure, Pandawa offers thrilling activities like paragliding and canoeing. Tandem paragliding lets you soar above the picturesque coastlines of Timbis, Sawangan, Melasti, and even as far as Karma Beach, Nyang Nyang, and Uluwatu. The cost for domestic tourists is approximately Rp850,000 for a 15-minute flight.

If you prefer staying closer to the water, you can enjoy canoeing, typically for an hour at a rate of Rp25,000 per person. Life jackets are available for rent at around Rp20,000 per person, ensuring your safety while paddling around the beautiful Pandawa Beach.

This fun activity is quite popular in this beach. "We have around 100 canoes available for tourists each day,"Wayan Swi, a local resident and canoe renter from Desa Kutuh.

The influx of tourists to Pandawa Beach has been on the rise since the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the tourism industry worldwide. Dodi, one of the information service staff, notes that visitor numbers have increased by 70 percent during this time.

"In response to the pandemic, we've made several improvements, including rearranging kiosks, cafes, and increasing our workforce," he explained.

During weekends, Pandawa Beach can welcome thousands of visitors, with the West Beach being a favorite spot due to its stunning limestone cliffs that line the path to the western side of the beach. The best part is that all these spots are free, and you only pay an entrance fee.

Speaking of entrance fees, domestic tourists are charged Rp8,000 for adults and Rp4,000 for children, while international tourists pay Rp15,000 for adults and Rp8,000 for children.

Pandawa Beach, with its natural beauty and thrilling activities, promises a memorable experience for tourists seeking adventure and relaxation alike. So, if you're planning a trip to Bali, make sure to add Pandawa Beach to your must-visit list.(*)
