Stages Leading to the Peak of Hajj

1. June 11, 2024 / 5 Zulhijjah 1445 H, 12:00 PM Saudi Arabian Time (WAS)
   - Temporary suspension of shalawat bus operations.

2. June 12, 2024 / 6 Zulhijjah 1445 H
   - Non-independent elderly pilgrims will be moved to transit hotels.

3. June 14, 2024 / 8 Zulhijjah 1445 H
   - Final breakfast service in Makkah before departure to Arafah.
   - Pilgrims begin departing to Arafah from 7:00 AM WAS.

4. June 15, 2024 / 9 Zulhijjah 1445 H
   - Execution of wukuf in Arafah.

5. Evening of June 15, 2024 / 9 Zulhijjah 1445 H, after Maghrib
   - Pilgrims leave Arafah for mabit in Muzdalifah or proceed directly to Mina.

6. June 16, 2024 / 10 Zulhijjah 1445 H
   - Throwing of Jumrah Aqabah and tahallul (shaving).

7. June 17, 18, and/or 19, 2024 / 11, 12, and/or 13 Zulhijjah 1445 H
   - Mabit in Mina and throwing of jumrah on the Days of Tashriq.

8. June 18, 2024 / 12 Zulhijjah 1445 H
   - Early departure (Nafar Awal) from Mina to the hotel in Makkah.

9. June 19, 2024 / 13 Zulhijjah 1445 H
   - Final departure (Nafar Tsani) from Mina to the hotel in Makkah.
   - Pilgrims in Makkah hotels start receiving lunch service.

10. June 20, 2024 / 14 Zulhijjah 1445 H, 12:30 AM WAS
   - Shalawat bus services resume operations.
   - Non-independent elderly pilgrims return to their respective groups.

Emphasis on Preparation

Noer Aliya Fitra, the Head of the Pilgrims’ Arrival and Departure Services Sub-directorate, emphasized the importance of pilgrims understanding this schedule to prepare themselves adequately. Food and transportation services have been arranged to ensure that pilgrims can perform their rituals smoothly and with devotion.

Pilgrims are advised to prioritize their health and safety during the pilgrimage, especially given the high temperatures in Makkah, which can exceed 43 degrees Celsius. Protective gear such as hats, sunglasses, or umbrellas is highly recommended for outdoor activities.
