"Alhamdulillah, the departure of the pilgrims is nearing its end. Ensuring Excellence in Pilgrim Services
With the majority of the pilgrims now in Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) is focused on providing exceptional services. Yaqut and the Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) are dedicated to ensuring top-notch support for the pilgrims. Continuous coordination and communication with the Saudi Arabian government are being maintained to promptly address any potential issues.
"Our communication with the Saudi Arabian Ambassador is very good. In fact, just before I departed, we were still discussing at the airport with the Ambassador how to establish a hotline for quick response if anything urgent arises," explained Gus Men, as he is affectionately known.
Yaqut expressed gratitude to the Saudi Arabian government for their responsiveness and excellent communication. He is confident that with this close cooperation, the best services will be provided to the hajj pilgrims.
"Alhamdulillah, we indeed feel how responsive the Saudi Arabian government is to our requests. Hopefully, we can all complement this with the best services for the hajj pilgrims," he emphasized.
The Saudi Arabian government has designated June 7, 2024 (1 Zulhijjah 1445 H) as the start of the Hajj. The pinnacle of the hajj, Wukuf in Arafat, will take place on June 15, 2024. Pilgrims will begin their journey from hotels in Mecca to Arafat on June 14, 2024.
A Comprehensive Support System
Kemenag has prepared a wide range of services for the hajj pilgrims, including accommodation, transportation, meals, and healthcare. Hajj officers have been strategically stationed at various points to assist the pilgrims throughout their journey.
"We want to ensure that all Indonesian hajj pilgrims receive the best services while in the Holy Land. This is our commitment," stressed Yaqut.
He also encouraged the pilgrims to focus on their worship and make the most of their time in the Holy Land.
"I hope the hajj pilgrims can focus on worship and maximize their opportunities in the Holy Land. This is a very valuable opportunity to enhance our faith and piety," he advised.
With the smooth execution of the departure phase and comprehensive service preparations, the Ministry of Religious Affairs or Kemenag RI is committed to making this hajj 2024 pilgrimage a spiritually fulfilling and well-organized experience for all Indonesian pilgrims. (*)
