Melati Restaurant reintroduces the special menu 'Lontong Tjap Go Meh Warong Shanghai 1920,' a long-time favorite during Cap Go Meh celebrations. From February 12 to 28, 2025, this special dish can be enjoyed with family, friends, or loved ones.

In Peranakan culture, Tjap Go Meh is celebrated 14 days after Chinese New Year as the closing of the festivities, with traditional dishes such as sticky rice cakes, vegetables, shrimp, and chicken in Peranakan curry. This dish is perfect to enjoy at Melati Restaurant with close ones or as a hamper to send to loved ones. Interestingly, the portion of Lontong Cap Go Meh can be customized to suit the needs, ranging from two to over 100 people, with 90 portions sold on the first day of its launch.
