TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTAThe Istanbul Youth Summit 2025  (IYS) was successfully held, bringing together 125 young delegates from 16 countries. The event fostered an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and inspiration. 

This four-day event took place from February 17-20, 2025. The forum served as a platform for young leaders to meet and connect. They exchanged knowledge and expanded their international networks. Additionally, they collaborated to create innovative solutions.

Participating countries included Colombia, El Salvador, Ethiopia, India, and Indonesia. Other nations involved were Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malaysia, and Mongolia. Additional participants came from Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Taiwan.

The diversity of the delegates was showcased in the Parade of Nations. This vibrant parade displayed the rich cultural heritage of each country. It symbolized the core theme of Collaboration in Diversity. This event reinforced the spirit of cross-cultural cooperation and inspiration.

The summit featured prominent speakers from various fields. Among them was Basma Lubbad, a global communications expert. Dharmaji Suradika, a social change practitioner, also participated. Additionally, young entrepreneur Aidiel Mat Isa shared his insights.

Marisa Christyanti from the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Istanbul was also present. She emphasized the importance of such events. Diversity, she stated, enriches perspectives and strengthens collaboration. This event served as tangible proof of the power of unity.

Marisa highlighted the significance of the IYS. "Diversity does not separate us; instead, it broadens our understanding and strengthens collaboration among young people from different countries," she said.

Several academics, technology experts, and social activists also took part. They provided valuable insights and inspiration to the participants. One notable figure was Razaq Manan Ahmad.

Razaq serves as the Executive Vice President of PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM). PNM was the summit’s main sponsor. He reaffirmed PNM’s commitment to supporting young generations.

"We believe that through positive and creative collaboration, we can make a significant impact on building a better future," he stated on February 18, 2025.

The Istanbul Youth Summit 2025 is an international forum aimed at empowering young people worldwide through a platform of cross-cultural collaboration. This summit brings together young leaders, professionals, and academics to discuss, share experiences, and collaborate on solutions to global challenges.
