Hajj 2025 Enters Day Three with Enhanced Services for Pilgrims

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – The Hajj 2025 pilgrimage has entered its third day, with the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Religious Affairs continuing to ensure the best possible services for pilgrims.
A number of service innovations have been introduced, starting from digitalization at Hajj dormitories to streamlined immigration through the fast track facility.

This was conveyed by Arfi Hatim, Secretary of the Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah (PHU), during a press conference titled Kabar Haji Indonesia held in Jakarta on Saturday (3/5/2025).
One of this year’s key innovations, he explained, is the implementation of a digital system called Munakosah (Accommodation Service Unit Management System).
“All Hajj embarkation dormitories are now fully operational and 100% ready. The service processes are running smoothly, and the presence of Munakosah has greatly assisted pilgrims, particularly by accelerating the room check-in process without long waiting times,” said Arfi.
With Munakosah, pilgrims can access information about their building and room number two days before departure. This information is available through the Entry to Dormitory Order Letter (SPMA) or via a QR code provided on the official website, [asramahaji.com](https://asramahaji.com).
Pilgrims no longer need to bring cabin luggage into the registration hall, creating a more orderly and efficient arrival process.
“Pilgrims can go straight to their rooms upon arrival at the dormitory. This is especially helpful for the elderly or those with physical limitations,” he added.
Fast Track Eases Travel for 122,000 Pilgrims
Meanwhile, the Makkah Route or fast track* facility—first introduced in 2019—has returned this year at three embarkation airports: Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta, Adi Soemarmo Solo, and Juanda Surabaya. A total of 122,291 pilgrims are expected to benefit from this service.
“With fast track, all immigration processes are completed in Indonesia. Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, pilgrims can proceed directly to their accommodations without needing to queue at the airport,” Arfi explained.
6,597 Pilgrims Arrive in Madinah, Thousands More on the Way
As of Saturday morning, May 3, 2025, at 08:00 WIB, data from the Integrated Hajj Information and Computerization System (Siskohat) recorded that 6,597 pilgrims from 17 groups had arrived at Amir Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz Airport (AMAA) in Madinah.
Today, an additional 8,294 pilgrims and Hajj officials are scheduled to depart in 21 groups from various embarkation points. They are expected to arrive in Madinah today and tomorrow.
Health Advisory for Pilgrims in the Holy Land
As the number of pilgrims arriving in Madinah continues to grow, the Ministry of Religious Affairs reminds all pilgrims to prioritize their health during the pilgrimage. The weather in Madinah on May 3, 2025, is forecast to reach 36°C with low humidity.
“Wear comfortable clothing, use a hat or head covering, and drink water regularly to avoid dehydration,” Arfi advised.
He also reminded pilgrims to always follow instructions from group leaders and Hajj officers (PPIH), maintain their stamina, avoid strenuous activities under the hot sun, and ensure proper diet and rest.
“May all pilgrims remain in good health and be granted ease in performing their Hajj 2025 rituals,” said Arfi. (*)
