Wow, BTS Borong Enam Penghargaan MAMA Awards 2022

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Grup Idol BTS memborong enam penghargaan pada ajang MAMA Awards 2022 yang digelar di Kyocera Dome, Osaka jepang, Rabu (30/11/2022) waktu setempat. 

Enam penghargaan yang dibawa BTS adalah MAMA Platinum, Yogibo Album of the Year, Yogibo Artist of the Year, Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year, Best Male Group, dan Worldwide Fans Choice.

Tak itu saja member BTS J-Hope juga meraih penghargaan dalam kategori Bobogo Culture & Style, serta The Most Popular Male Artist. 

Dengan raihan itu, BTS memiliki rekor keempatnya selama tiga tahun berutut-turut sejak 2019 hingga 2021. 

Selain BTS, IVE juga membawa beberapa penghargaan. Yaitu Song of the Year, Best New Female Artist dan Best Dance Performance Female Group. 

MAMA Award merupakan ajang penghargaan untuk pelaku industri K-Pop yang paling berkelas dan mendapatkan pengakuan secara global. 

Untuk menentukan pemenang, sebelumnya MAMA telah mengumumkan kriteria untuk pemenang dari masing-masing kategori. 

Artist of the Year dan Artist Category Awards diambil dari 40 persen evaluasi judge panel, 30 persen download/streaming lagu (20 persen Korea dan 10 persen global), serta 30 persen penjualan fisik album.

Lalu Song of the Year dan Genre Category Awards berdasarkan 40 persen evaluasi judge panel, 60 persen download/streaming lagu (40 persen Korea dan 20 persen global).

Album of the Year dinilai dari 40 persen evaluasi judge panel dan 60 persen penjualan fisik album.

Pemenang kategori Worldwide Icon of the Year dinilai dari 50 persen perhitungan suara Mnet Plus, 30 persen suara Spotify, 10 persen suara Twitter, dan 10 persen skor video musik.

Musik yang masuk kategori yang dirilis pada 1 November 2021 hingga 21 Oktober 2022.
