Facilitating the Signing of MoU between Educational Institutions, BRCC Indonesia Strengthens Indonesia-China Educational Collaboration

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Today, The Belt & Road Chinese Center (BRCC) Indonesia proudly announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between several senior high schools (SMA) in Indonesia, BRCC Indonesia, and Chinese universities. This agreement aims to enhance academic networks, build strategic synergies, and strengthen educational collaboration between Indonesia and China.
Maruf Mollah, CEO of BRCC Global, stated, "In the future, BRCC hopes to continue inviting other educational institutions to collaborate in developing the quality of institutions, educators, and students. As an institution committed to fostering collaboration between Indonesia and China, BRCC Indonesia will remain enthusiastic in encouraging and facilitating various educational and cultural partnerships."

The MoU signing was attended by several high schools and educational institutions, including the Ma'arif NU Education Institute PWNU DKI Jakarta, Ma'arif NU Education Institute PWNU Central Java, BRCC Indonesia, Francis High School, Buona Ventura High School, and Mutiara Bangsa High School and Vocational School. The agreement was signed alongside leading universities in China, namely Beihang University (BUAA), China University of Petroleum, Beijing (CUPB), and Harbin Engineering University (HEU). Additionally, the signing ceremony was witnessed by representatives from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikdasmen).
Through this MoU, students from various high schools will have the opportunity to pursue further studies at partner universities and receive subsidized benefits from the Chinese government. These benefits include scholarships for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees; D3+internship programs; Chinese language development programs; study camp preparations and selection exams; and short courses for teachers and students at madrasahs and schools.
Furthermore, this MoU also opens possibilities for collaboration between high schools and partner universities to improve and expand access to quality education for teachers and students. Programs such as teacher and lecturer exchanges, short- and long-term student exchanges, joint research initiatives, academic conferences and seminars/workshops, and the exchange of teaching materials and curricula are among the initiatives covered under this partnership.
Veby Millian Kesuma, S.S., MTCSOL, Director of BRCC Indonesia, added, "With the exam program we held on February 22nd and today's MoU signing, we hope BRCC Indonesia can provide greater convenience and serve as a bridge for stronger cooperation between educational institutions in Indonesia and China. This agreement is not only about increasing the number of Indonesian students studying in China but also about enhancing collaboration and creating a mutually beneficial relationship that will contribute to elevating the quality of education in Indonesian SMA/SMK to international standards."
